How FOCUS Coaching for teams works
A team is simply two or more people working towards something shared, whether you’re a team of two or a team of 22, when you’re aligned, you can achieve far more together than alone.
FOCUS is a simple but powerful framework that offers:
A high-impact, focused, coaching-led space
A structured process to align priorities, create strategy, and move forward, together
Critical insights into your team dynamics, communication preferences and blind spots
Opportunity to turn your differences into your biggest asset
A method you can apply over and over again
-
“Where are we now?”
We step back from operational noise, competing demands, and assumptions to understand what is really happening beneath the surface of team challenges, friction, or stalled progress.
During our pre-session conversations, we will gain a clear view of the current landscape, challenges, opportunities, and competing pressures.
All team members will complete a DISC personality profiling exercise which will be used to create a collective team dynamics report - highlighting the strengths and potential areas of challenge for the team.
-
“What’s everyone’s perspective?”
We untangle competing priorities, perspectives, pressures, and objectives so the team can think more clearly, communicate more effectively, and focus collective energy.
During our FOCUS session, we will create space for honest, productive dialogue and surface what needs to be said.
We will discuss the dynamics of the group as a whole.
-
“What could impact our future success?”
We explore behavioural dynamics, communication styles, decision-making habits, and recurring ways of working that may be influencing trust, decision-making and momentum.
We will cut through noise, assumptions, and competing agendas to identify what matters most.
-
“Are we all aligned?”
We reconnect the team to shared goals, values, strengths, and what will create the greatest impact, building alignment around what matters most.
We will agree our ‘north star’, with shared priorities and collective commitment.

-
“How will I contribute?”
We translate insight into practical, achievable next steps that create clarity, ownership, momentum, and meaningful progress together.
Each team member will define one clear step and commit to ownership and actions towards the collective strategy.
Find One Clear Unified Step
You’ll step forward, in unison.
Turn Individual Brilliance into Collective Excellence
My Coaching Approach
I’ve designed the FOCUS framework to intentionally support a way of working and leading that is not only more human, but more effective in creating cultures where people and performance can grow together.
The FOCUS Coaching framework is underpinned by three core principles.
Values-led | Energy-aware | Neuro-agnostic
Learn more below about how I apply these principles and how they can help shape your business and teams.
Values-led
A values-led team is anchored in what truly matters. Shared principles guide how people work, make decisions, and show up.
-
Rather than being a set of words on a wall, values become lived behaviours. They shape culture, influence priorities, and create clarity in moments of uncertainty. When a team is values-led, diversity is welcomed because differences are held within a shared foundation. People are able to contribute as themselves, knowing there is a common thread that connects them and a shared goal or north star that directs them. This creates trust, strengthens accountability, and allows the team to move with both integrity and purpose.
We’ll use your company/team values to underpin our work together.
If you don’t align with these or haven’t yet established them, we can help!
Energy-aware
An energy-aware team pays attention to more than just output, it recognises the human dynamics that sit beneath performance.
-
This means understanding how individuals and the collective experience pressure, pace, change, and challenge. It’s about noticing when energy is expanding or contracting.
It’s about responding in ways that support sustainability rather than burnout.
In energy-aware environments, adaptability becomes natural. Teams are able to flex, reset, and recalibrate without losing momentum. People feel safe to communicate honestly about capacity and needs, which creates space for authenticity, stronger collaboration, and more resilient ways of working.
In our work together we will take into account your working environment and consider where your energy is going, where you are ‘leaking’ energy and how to optimise your resources.
Neuro-agnostic
A neuro-agnostic team is designed with the understanding that there is no single “normal” way to think, communicate, or operate.
-
Instead of expecting individuals to conform to fixed systems, the team creates flexible ways of working that allow different styles, strengths, and needs to coexist and thrive.
This approach naturally fosters inclusivity. It removes the pressure to fit a mould and instead invites diverse perspectives, ways of problem-solving, and forms of expression. The result is a culture where people feel seen, respected, and able to contribute fully, leading to richer thinking, better decisions, higher employee retention and more innovative outcomes.
Our work together doesn’t just allow for these differences, it relies on it!
We use DISC personality and team dynamic profiling to illuminate your communication preferences, how to best manage conflict and reduce risk by bring to light potential blind spots.
Diversity is a strength. Authenticity is possible. Inclusivity is felt.
